I can't put these books down. I have so much other stuff I should be doing...but i pass hour after hour rivetted.
I'm on Book 6....going through one book every 5 days or so.

Still, even though we're almost all annoyed with RJ, we are all in the tribe because we love SOMETHING about these stories.

Mon, October 25, 2004 - 6:08 PMI was like that until about Book 9 and then I lost steam. I think the series started to slow down well before book 9, but my interest started to fade as of that point. Book 10 I have been unable to finish, and I will undoubtably have to start again for the third time once I get back to it (I am re-reading the first five Stephen King Dark Tower books, and then going to finish the series before I touch any more Robert Jordan). I haven't even looked at the prequel. -

Mon, November 8, 2004 - 12:39 PMYeah the books have slowed down some....but it is hard to keep a series going this long and make it action packed and exciting. There are 13 books total...so you can count on the last two books being pretty crazy. I have read online that book 11 is suppose to be very frantic and quick paced, since it is leading toward the final book. -
